My Passion
Learning a musical instrument connects the senses and provides an outlet for the
emotions.Even one note played on a cello with intent can be a release and an
experience to be savoured. Music is a combination of theoretical and practical
skills that come together to support individuals on a journey through sound.As a professional cellist I have experienced this synergy as a soloist with orchestras and chamber groups and feel that music is something that starts with the first
listener - the person creating that sound.I am dedicated to exploring the resonance of thoughts and feelings and the balance
of emotions through music; this is a real experience felt through the fingertips.There are many interwoven skills and techniques that I provide for individual learning pathways so every student learns differently and has the ability to overcome barriers and create sound that inspires and encourages expression.
